China released the first images of its completed space station on Nov 28 at a press conference in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The images were shot by the Shenzhou-16 crew with a handheld camera. They show the entire configuration of the space station in orbit with Earth in the background.
The space station modules, manned spacecraft, cargo spacecraft, relay satellites and the Long March carrier rockets used for launch of the spacecraft were all developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).
The company also plays a role in some other subsystem development of the project.
