China's first newly-built high-power electric shunting locomotive rolled off the production line of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. in Zhuzhou, Central China's Hunan Province, on Nov 16, 2023.
With a maximum traction power of 1,500 kW, the locomotive meets the rail transport needs of industries such as metallurgy, ports, electricity, petrochemicals, and mining. It boasts green and low-carbon technology and is economical, practical, intelligent and advanced.
