Sinomach Signs Multiple Projects at Belt and Road CEO Conference

A great number of pragmatic cooperation projects, both domestic and international, were signed at the Belt and Road CEO Conference held in Beijing.

China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) signed eight collaborative projects with international and domestic partners during the conference, with a total contract value of approximately $3.4 billion.

The eight projects are: Mozambique's Maputo suspension rail transit project, Nicaragua's Punta Huete Airport upgrade and renovation project, Dubai's DEWA phase 6 photovoltaic solar power project, Uzbekistan's Guzar 350MW+62MWh photovoltaic solar power and energy storage project, Nigeria's Abuja Gwagwalada Independent Power Generation Project, photovoltaic projects totaling 183MW in Uzbekistan's cities of Sirdaryo, Muborak, Takhiatash, and Toʻraqoʻrgʻon, Uzbekistan's Nukus 273MW photovoltaic solar project, and Uzbekistan's Takhiatash 472MW combined cycle power plant project.

Over the past decade, Sinomach has made continuous efforts to implement the Belt and Road Initiative by developing cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road and adhering to extensive consultation, joint construction, and shared benefits. The company has worked together with partners to advance infrastructure development, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges, making a positive contribution to improving the well-being of people worldwide and fostering global economic growth.
