Over the past decade since the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative, China Certification and Inspection Group (CCIC) has given full play to its technical service expertise and leveraged its robust global business network and professional service capabilities to ensure the high quality of construction projects under the Belt and Road Initiative.
A comprehensive global service network
CCIC has established subsidiary companies covering overseas regions such as the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, extending its services to major ports and goods distribution centers in 40 countries and regions. The complete overseas network strengthens the company's growth and provides an integral service chain for construction projects under the Belt and Road Initiative.
CCIC serves as a third-party Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) organization for major ports in Chile, Peru, and Ecuador in South America, and has a positive influence on local import and export trade. Back in 2001, CCIC Anhui sent personnel to Antofagasta, Chile to provide customers with copper ore inspection services and then gradually established a platform for the operation of mineral products in South America. In 2013, following the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative, CCIC Anhui incorporated its mineral product pre-shipment inspection and testing services for the main copper-producing countries of South America, namely Chile, Peru, and Ecuador, into CCIC's Belt and Road project category, which included inspecting and testing millions of tons of copper concentrate and anode plates before they were shipped.

The China-Myanmar crude oil pipeline, a pioneering project of the Belt and Road Initiative, serves as China's fourth energy import channel and is known as the "Southwest Energy Artery". China Inspection Company Limited, a subsidiary of CCIC, is the designated quality inspection agency and a witness to the completion of this pipeline. The project is considered the most complex intermodal sea-land transportation project in the industry, and involves multiple entities in trade settlement, data integration, and oil source tracking, including consignors, carriers, traders, and recipients. CCIC took advantage of its business network capabilities and worked out comprehensive risk control measures tailored to the different characteristics of the internal and external sections of the pipeline. Multiple CCIC subsidiaries performed inspection work for crude oil unloading at different points, ensuring the quality of crude oil transported along the "Southwest Energy Artery".

Professional technical expertise
CCIC not only offers quality and safety assurance for construction projects along the Belt and Road but also provides quality enhancement services to improve project efficiency.
The Three Gorges First Wind Farm project is China-built and the first wind power project in Pakistan. It provides Pakistan with reliable clean energy and effectively ensures its power supply. After the project started operating, technical experts of the China Quality Certification Center, a subsidiary of CCIC, developed detailed and complete plans for stabilizing and enhancing the power output of the wind turbines, earning high praise from the Pakistani side. The annual average utilization rate and equivalent hours of use of the wind turbines consistently ranked first among neighboring wind farms for years in a row.
With the in-depth advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, to help export companies obtain the safety certification required for product exportation as soon as possible, CCIC Japan has tailored an integrated certification service solution, significantly reducing costs for enterprises by synchronizing certification processes across multiple countries and ensuring quick and compliant product export to overseas markets.
Inspection and testing services in diverse fields
Currently, CCIC's inspection and testing services span all sectors of the national economy, providing comprehensive quality and safety assurance for Belt and Road projects.
Bangladesh, situated at the intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, has cooperated with China on many major infrastructure projects in recent years, boosting the import and export trade. CCIC Singapore actively sought collaboration with the Bangladeshi government and won the bid for the global procurement inspection project for the Bangladesh railway. It became the exclusive inspection service CCIC provider for the Bangladesh Railway Authority, providing its inspection services to all products purchased and imported by the Bangladesh Railway Authority, including railway vehicles (locomotives, passenger cars, baggage cars, freight cars, refrigerated cars, railcars, and rescue cranes), machines, equipment, electromechanical components, steel products, chemicals, and oils. Its top-quality professional services have earned recognition from the Bangladesh Railway Authority.

The Engro Thar Coalfield Block II Coal and Power Integrated Project in Pakistan is a priority energy project within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. CCIC is the equipment procurement quality supervision service provider for the project. CCIC Beijing utilized its extensive experience in engineering supervision, equipment supervision and foreign aid material inspection to create and successfully complete a comprehensive quality supervision plan for the over 40 types of coal mining equipment and more than 30 types of thermal power generation equipment used in the project.
