The 19th Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, from Sept 23 to Oct 8. The Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre, a project of China State Decoration Group Company Limited, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, is set to play host to the baseball and softball events, where two gold medals will be up for grabs.

Located at the crossroads of Keqiao District and Jinghu New Area in Shaoxing, and in close proximity to the Jinghu Interchange of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou Expressway, this venue covers an area of 245 mu (16.33 hectares). With a seating capacity for an audience of 10,000 spectators, it is currently the largest and most advanced baseball and softball facility in China, and is designed to meet international competition standards. It will provide an optimal site for high-level baseball and softball events, including those of the Hangzhou Asian Games.

This project integrates competitive sports with public fitness, introducing an innovative organizational model that combines Asian Games venues with post-event sports and cultural centers. To foster a modern sports facility that integrates smart management and public fitness, it will become a new landmark for sports and recreational activities in the region.
