Construction Industry Intelligent Ecological System Exhibited at CIFTIS

Updated: September 11, 2023

China Construction First Group Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), showcased a wide array of new technologies at the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), held in Beijing from Sept 2 to 7, including its independently developed BeiDou ultra-long-range, ultra-high-precision receiving equipment, smart construction robots, and three-dimensional ecological circle for desert environments.

The company showcased its achievements in the exhibition area of engineering consulting and construction service. With the theme of smart construction and green development, the exhibition area featured China's construction industry's new concepts, new technologies, new products, and innovative engineering projects centered on industrialization, environmental friendliness, and intelligence in the context of realizing the nation's "dual carbon" goals.

During the exhibition, China Construction First Group Corporation Limited fully demonstrated its technical strength and service capabilities in engineering construction fields, including in intelligent equipment, smart management platform construction, and green building technology.

Addressing construction precision challenges by leveraging BeiDou system

With the vigorous development of the global satellite navigation industry, the BeiDou system is also making strides towards becoming a world-class satellite navigation system.

China Construction First Group Corporation Limited has integrated the practical needs of the construction industry with the continuous upgrades of the BeiDou satellite navigation system. At the trade fair, the company presented its six new products based on the BeiDou system, including the world's first ultra-high-precision BeiDou satellite positioning receiver (third generation) for super-tall buildings, the industry's first ultra-long-distance BeiDou satellite positioning receiver, as well as a building a deformation monitoring radar.

As early as 2016, the company applied its independently developed BeiDou high-precision positioning equipment (CSCEC-HC-5) and high-precision algorithms to the world's tallest office building - the Shenzhen Ping An Financial Center project. This marked the first application of BeiDou technology in the civil construction sector, and achieved a remarkable measurement accuracy of two millimeters in the horizontal plane and four millimeters in elevation for a skyscraper reaching 600 meters in height.

During the exhibition, the company displayed the 3.0 version of its ultra-high-precision BeiDou satellite positioning receiver, which boasts enhanced resistance to interference and improved stability. It also presented the independently developed ultra-long-distance BeiDou high-precision satellite positioning receiver. These receivers incorporate multiple critical technologies, which solve the problem that ultra-long baselines are seriously affected by atmospheric errors due to ionosphere and troposphere interference, as well as multipath effects. This technological advancement enables precise positioning under a variety of complex conditions.

During the exhibition, the company also introduced the industry's first building deformation monitoring radar. This radar, based on MIMO technology, further enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of building (structure) deformation monitoring. It can provide new detection technology and products for the field of building (structure) deformation monitoring and safety assessment.

Exhibiting independently developed construction robots

China Construction First Group Corporation Limited has developed and applied various groundbreaking robotic construction technologies and intelligent manufacturing equipment, contributing to the industry's shift toward smart construction.

The company exhibited its four construction robots at the trade fair. The "X-MEN" robot serves as a "doctor" on construction sites to conduct meticulous inspections of buildings. The four-legged monitoring robot acts as "security" to conduct detailed inspections on various construction sites. The intelligent handling robot is a "driver", transporting and handling materials in complex terrain. The building electromechanical pipeline installation robot functions as an "electrician", which can install various electromechanical pipelines.

These robots provide a novel experience for visitors and are able to assist and substitute construction workers in performing hazardous, complex, dirty, and heavy construction operations.

Other displayed achievements independently developed by the company include intelligent template processing equipment that can automatically load, cut, vacuum, and label, and the industry's first electric numerical control sliding mold platform. These accomplishments are conducive to the overall framework of China's digital construction and empower "China's construction" with technology.

Providing solutions for green and sustainable development

With the entire industry chain and life cycle service concept, China Construction First Group Corporation Limited also displayed its achievements in promoting green and low-carbon development and assisting in achieving China's "dual carbon" goals.

These include integrated protection and systematic management technologies for mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and sands, green urban management models, and backfill technology using microbiological methods.

The company exhibited a simulated sand table of the Ulansuhai Nur Ecological Restoration Project - the largest pilot project in China for landscape, forest, field, lake, grass and sand restoration. This demonstrated the company's comprehensive industry chain advantages and ecological restoration approach.

It also developed a lightweight grass-pressing and sand-covering machine and a synchronized planting machine for Haloxylon ammodendron and Cistanche deserticola, as well as improved the drone aerial seeding system, and developed a precise water and fertilizer integration automatic irrigation system.

These achievements demonstrate the company's significant contributions to multiple, complementary measures in governance and reshaping the ecological environment network.

In addition, the company presented its new integrated energy supply systems and independently developed fertilizer tank backfill construction technology using microbiologically induced calcium carbonate deposition, demonstrating its commitment to providing solutions for intelligent, digital, and low-carbon development.
