The 93,000-cubic meter ship is the fourth-generation VLGC boutique ship type independently developed and designed by Jiangnan Shipyard Group Co., Ltd.. It is 230 meters long and 36.6 meters wide with a service speed of 16.5 knots. It adopts a patented fourth-generation hull design, and exhibits excellent and balanced performance when loaded to capacity, ballasted, and in various conditions involving different densities of liquid cargo.

As the third ship in this series, the Hyperion undocked on April 25 of this year, being named on the same day as the H2736 ship on June 29, and started sea trials in mid-July. Through efficient planning, the sea trials were completed in just six days, setting a new record for the "three-in-one sea trials."

The next three ships in this series will continue to be built according to the "744" construction pace and are scheduled to be delivered within the year.
