Upon completion, the project is expected to generate more than 3.3 billion kWh of electricity a year, providing sufficient electricity for approximately 200,000 households and benefiting about 1.2 million local residents. It will ensure a stable power supply for the social and economic development of Bangladesh, and play a positive role in driving local economic growth and improving people's livelihoods.
