After eight days and seven nights of sea voyage, the cruise ship successfully completed all the tests of the first trial voyage, returning one day earlier than originally planned.

This marked the first trial voyage of a large cruise ship completed by a Chinese shipyard, and was a historic milestone for China's shipbuilding industry.

It also signifies that the first large cruise ship made by China has achieved a milestone leaping from blueprint to blue sea, and from Shanghai to open waters, taking a historic step forward towards the ultimate goal of being named and delivered by the end of this year.

During the 8-day trial voyage, "Adora Magic City" completed the tests of the navigation system, propulsion system, and power management system (PMS), as well as tests for bow thrusters, stabilizers and other critical systems and equipment related to ship performance.

Regional tests were carried out for key technologies throughout the life cycle of cruise ship design and construction such as vibration and noise control, and safe return-to-port procedures. All test items met the design specifications and received unanimous approval from the shipowners and ship inspection authorities.
