Over the past few years, the China Metallurgical Geology Bureau (CMGB) has fully leveraged its strengths in geo-science, geological technology and equipment manufacturing to further increase its capacity building in environmental management and develop sci-tech products with independent intellectual property rights, which play a vital role in disaster relief, pollution restoration, hazardous waste treatment and manufacturing sectors.
For instance, the intelligent dual liquid pulping and highly-efficient muddy water treatment systems, developed by CMGB's Central South Huaya Resources & Environment Co., Ltd, have fundamentally supported the building of a tunnel project in the reconstruction of Beijing's East Sixth Ring Road, which is the longest domestic highway shield tunnel.
The self-developed intelligent dual liquid pulping and highly-efficient muddy water treatment systems have successfully solved such problems as surface subsidence, the safety risks of buildings, waste drilling mud treatment, boosting the Jinghua tunnel boring machine’s performance in the reconstruction project of Beijing's East Sixth Ring Road.
The intelligent dual liquid pulping system has achieved the smart and precise control of pulping production, storage and transportation, brought surface subsidence under control and filled domestic gaps in creating zero-disturbance toward surface buildings.
The highly-efficient waste drilling mud treatment system has adopted globally advanced vibration subtraction and noise control technology, provided tunnel boring machines with high-quality and stable-performance drilling mud, and achieving the environmentally-friendly treatment of waste mud.
