Sinotrans Limited (Sinotrans), an integrated logistics operator of central Asia's largest wind power project in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, has made full use of its domestic and international advantageous resources to transport wind turbines and other equipment from China-based production sites to their Uzbek destinations.
The project is set to build two 500 MW wind power stations and affiliated power transmission lines. Upon completion, it will be able to supply 3.5 billion kWh of electricity for local grid per year. Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same capacity, it could reduce 1.6 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually and help Uzbekistan achieve its 2031 renewable energy development goal.
So far, Sinotrans has already delivered 90 sets of wind turbines to Bukhara. Meanwhile, 34 trucks have been working on the transportation of 124 sets of wind turbines in a cross-border journey.
During the transportation process, Sinotrans has carried out several rounds of investigations, undertaken the renovation of Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan Port in collaboration with its business partners, and mapped out precise transportation plans to ensure the smooth cross-border transportation of the wind turbines, one piece's weight of which can reach 147 tons, with the maximum length of turbine blade of approximately 84 meters.
Sinotrans has earned high praise from its Uzbek clients and other relevant parties for its high-quality logistics services and transportation efficiency.
Furthermore, Sinotrans has adopted intelligent logistics technologies to trace the latest conditions of its outbound packages and meet the demand of its clients to comprehensively follow the movement of their commodities.
Sinotrans has always adhered to its business philosophy of creating value whilst meeting the expectation of its clients, providing clients from home and abroad with secure, reliable and self-controlled whole-chain and whole-scenario logistics solutions via advanced technologies, professional services and responsible attitudes, and made unique contributions to global clean energy development.
