China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) recently won the bid for the construction of the Al Habtoor apartment project in Dubai, which is expected to be the world's largest of its kind.

Located in the business port area, the most prosperous downtown zone of Dubai, the apartment project is designed to cover an area of 8,325 square meters, with a total building area of 356,092 sq m and an eave height of 345.1 meters.
The apartment will feature 1,701 flats in 84 stories, a 273-m high air swimming pool and a 334-meter high air Chinese restaurant.
Adhering to the civilization, green, environmentally-friendly and energy-conserving building principle, the project will use special materials to limit the emission of carbon dioxide.
Once operational, the project is expected to be a new landmark in Dubai, which will attract investment and promote social and economic development in affected area.
