All 1st Batch China-Export High-Speed Trains Shipped

Updated: May 30, 2023

The last three high-speed trains for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway in Indonesia were recently shipped by China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited (COSCO SHIPPING Group).

It marks that all of the first batch of high-speed trains exported from China to a foreign country have now been shipped.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is a landmark project under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and China's first overseas high-speed railway project built to Chinese standards with Chinese technologies by Chinese equipment.

The trains shipped for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway include 11 high-speed trains and one comprehensive inspection train (CIT), all of which were transported by COSCO SHIPPING Group.

The first high-speed train and the comprehensive inspection train departed from Qingdao Port in East China's Shandong Province on August 21, 2022, and arrived in Indonesia in 11 days.

The trains were shipped by DA FU, XIN DA ZHONG, XIN DA QIANG, and other carriers, which were previously used in shipment of an ultra-large-diameter tunnel boring machine and 38,000 metric tons of 50-meter extended high-speed railway rails for construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway.
