Adhering to the green development principle, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) has launched environmentally protection projects in China, restoring lush mountains and lucid waters.
CECEP's subsidiary in Xianning, Central China's Hubei Province, has stepped up efforts in comprehensive treatment of the ecological environment in regions of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and had treated more than 270,000 metric tons of garbage.

The Fenghuang River comprehensive treatment project in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region launched by CECEP is the first water environment treatment PPP project in the area. After the treatment, the Fenghuang River and the parks formed a waterfront landscape belt, which attracted a large group of birds.

CECEP also contributed to the water quality treatment project of the Tangxi River in Hefei, Central China's Anhui Province, covering an area of 80,000 square meters. Tangxi River water quality now has been improved and has attracted many migratory birds like cranes, Tadorna ferruginea and Fulica atra.

CECEP carried out comprehensive treatment of the water ecological environment of the Jiudaoyan River basin in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The treatment area covers 18 kilometers of the river, 110,000 square meters of ecological pond and 20,000 square meters of ecological wetland.
The area now has flourishing plants, green banks, lucid waters with fish swimming in the river.

Located in the national ecological protection pilot area of the Source of Three Rivers, CECEP's Saishitang copper mining geological environment comprehensive treatment project adopted various kinds of technologies and restored the forestry of the area.

CECEP's Wuwei Power Plant in Liangzhou District of Wuwei, Northwest China's Gansu Province, is a demonstration project of solar power and sand control in the region, with plant restoration area of 2.51 million square meters. The area has attracted various kinds of wildlife like hares and birds.
