The National Building Green and Low-carbon Technology Innovation Center was launched on May 9 at the headquarters of China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. (CCTC).
The center is the first national technology innovation center in the field of "dual carbon" strategy in China. Initiated by CCTC, it was jointly built by universities, scientific research institutes and backbone industrial enterprises such as China Green Development Investment Group, China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited, China Forestry Group Corporation, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, Tsinghua University, and Southeast University.
It is expected to play a key role in making breakthroughs in green and low-carbon building, integrating innovation resources of the industry chain in the field, and building a new pattern of green and low-carbon development.
CCTC will work together with all parties to build the center into a science and technology innovation platform for co-construction and governance, sharing and progress, actively carry out research and development of common industrial technologies, build a new-type science and technology innovation mechanism and system, and support the green and low-carbon transformation of the building field.
Adhering to the concept of "localization, humanization, low carbon, longevity and wisdom", the center intends to focus on six technology sections and contribute to green and low-carbon building in China.
