Recently, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) innovatively adopted a cost contracting model for towing, positioning and ballasting stages in the drilling and completion project of Dongfang 13-2 gas field. Based on the Dongfang 13-2WHPA production platform, Hai Yang Shi You 944 drilling platform completed positioning, pile insertion and ballasting. The operation efficiency improved by 25 percent.
