Located in the central highland of Tasmania, the project has a total investment of 327.8 million Australian dollars ($220.8 million).

It is equipped with 48 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 148.4 megawatts. It has an average annual output of about 440 million kWh of power and is expected to serve for 20 years.

Construction of the project started in July 2018 and was put into commercial operation in December 2020.

Its development set a model for Chinese enterprises in investing, building and operating renewable energy projects in a developed country.

In addition to operation of the wind power project, POWERCHINA also fulfilled social responsibilities and contributed to local economic development.
