CRRC in Full Swing in Developing Advanced Locomotives

In recent years, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC), has been in full swing developing advanced locomotives.


The photo shows three Shen 24 electric locomotives ready for service on the railway. The Shen 24 electric locomotive, with a unit power of 28,800 kilowatts, was the largest of its kind in the world and rolled off the production line at CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. on July 29, 2020. The photo shows a maglev train operating on a tourism railway line in Central China's Hunan Province on July 30, 2022. It is a key part of China's first project integrating maglev technology, culture and tourism. The maglev train has three carriages and a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Installed with large windows, the train provides passengers great views of the scenery in the mountains while they enjoy a serene, green travel experience. [Photo/sasac.gov.cn]
