CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC), was a key player in the dredging and governance of the waterways of the Yangtze estuary area.
So far, the company has built about 170 kilometers of embankments to support waterway governance along the Yangtze River, and the total dredging volume has exceeded 300 million cubic meters.
The navigation depth for ships of the waterway has increased to 12.5 meters, improving operation safety and benefiting the navigation of large ships, which guarantees an increase in freight transport in the Yangtze estuary area and along the river.
