CCCC in Full Swing in Green Engineering

China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC) has been adhering to the concept of green and low-carbon development to protect lucid water and green mountains in recent years.

CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company Ltd. planted 130,000 square meters of grass in the area about 3.3 kilometers from the Hengli land development project in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province, which solved flooding and water and soil loss caused by typhoons. The area now has become an urban ecological green land.

CCCC Second Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. has planted more than 4.2 million trees in Yanchang County,Northwest China's Shaanxi Province to support construction of the region's national reserve forest and its ecological protection.

To protect mangroves, which are known as "coastal defenders", CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd.'s department of the Puqian Central Fishery Port project in Wenchang, South China's Hainan Province, has taken special protection measures and optimized construction plans.

The project has so far consolidated about 3,000 square meters of breeding ponds.

CCCC Asset Management Co., Ltd. promoted application of renewable energy and energy-conserving lighting technology on the highway linking Weng'an and Machangping in Southwest China's Guizhou Province, applying green and low-carbon technology along the 254-kilometer route.
