The Tianmu 1 03, 04, 05 and 06 satellites are remote sensing satellites developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC). When the entire constellation is operational, it is expected to realize global marine and atmosphere exploration.
Kuaizhou-1A is a type of small-sized carrier rocket also developed by CASIC. It is mainly used for launch of low-orbit small satellites weighed about 300 kilograms, and has high flight reliability, high orbit injection accuracy and low launch costs.
The launch on March 22 was the 19th flight mission of the Kuaizhou-1A rocket and the first launch of the rocket series in 2023.
