Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway Makes Key Progress

Updated: March 30, 2023

The Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway in South China's Guangdong Province has made key progress in building its passage through the city and under the Zhanjiang Bay.

The railway is 401 kilometers in total and has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

Once operational, travel time between downtown Guangzhou and downtown Zhanjiang will shorten to 90 minutes, which will greatly promote Zhanjiang's involvement in development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
