Located in BE Falls Amusement Park in Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay, the cableway is about 67 kilometers east of Mandalay.

With six supports, it has a horizontal length of 553.6 meters and a height difference of 34.8 meters. The maximum operating speed is 0.8 meters per second and the ability to send 365 people per hour in a single direction.

A result of win-win cooperation between China and Myanmar, the completion of the cableway is expected to promote development of local tourism and economy while providing a chance for Chinese standards and China-made equipment to go global.

Beijing Materials Handling Research Institute Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, was responsible for the project.
