Luoyang, Central China's Henan Province, witnessed departure of its first China-Europe train in year of the rabbit on Jan 24, 2023. The train carried nearly 100 YTO tractors, destined for five Central Asian countries.
Developed by YTO Group Corporation (YTO Group), a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), the YTO tractors have strong power, reliable performance and outstanding adaptability, making them widely suitable for various fields like farming and transportation.

The China-Europe freight train departed from the Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port in Central China's Henan Province on Jan 24 and called at stations in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the Central Asian region, improving Sinomach’s role in agricultural production of Central Asian countries.
The Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port is a main hub for production-oriented national logistics in Luoyang.
Seizing the opportunity of development of the port, YTO Group has improved quality and efficiency of the operation of the China-Europe freight train service and promoted integration of domestic and overseas resources, all the while exploring new businesses and opening new routes.
At present, the international freight train service heading to Central Asia and Russia and the return railway-sea transport service between Luoyang and Ningbo and Qingdao are in regular operation, as are several connected domestic railway lines. The train service to Central Asia runs once a week.
The freight train service returning from Central Asia is also in trial operation, which is expected to boost trade cooperation between Luoyang and related countries and regions.

In the morning of Dec 16, 2022, an international freight train carrying 50 standard containers of about 1,300 metric tons of imported wheat granules returned to Luoyang from Kostanay in Kazakhstan. It was the first of its kind since the China-Europe freight train service opened in Luoyang.
A variety of food products such as barley and corn will be transported to the Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port by the service.
Since the unified management of China-Europe freight trains was launched in Henan on April 16, 2022, 38 international freight trains operating on the Central Asia line have departed from the Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port.
