China Southern Airlines, one of China's major air carriers, plans to inaugurate flights between Shenzhen, Guangdong province, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Jan 2.
The flights will begin with one flight per week but will quickly shift to twice a week starting on Jan 11.
The airline said in a statement on Wednesday that it plans to launch or resume more international flights to meet demand from businesses and students.
