Completion of the main span of the Xiang'an Bridge in Xiamen, East China's Fujian Province, was achieved on Sept 12.

With a total length of about 12 kilometers, the bridge has about 4.5 kilometers built over the sea and a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
