Spanning the Duohua Valley, the 1,260-meter-long and 30-meter-wide steel composite beam cable-stayed bridge has two towers and double cable planes and a main span of 528 meters.
The main tower of the bridge is 265 meters high, reaching about 400 meters from the bottom of the valley.

China Railway Hi-Tech Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, is responsible for producing and installing the steel beams of the project, which weigh about 13,200 metric tons.
Longli River Bridge is a key section to link the Longxi inland opening-up economic development forerunner zone in Central Guizhou and the Longli grassland area.
Once operational, the bridge will become a channel linking the grassland area with other regions in Guizhou, shortening travel time between Guiyang, the capital, and Longli Grassland to around 30 minutes.
