FENG HUANG SONG of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited (COSCO SHIPPING Group) recently departed from Qingdao Port, East China's Shandong Province, en route to Africa. It carries 467 vehicles including motor tractors, tankers and tramcars.
It is the first special ferry for transportation of engineering vehicles customized for FAW Group by COSCO SHIPPING Group.

Based on FAW Group's demand, the multi-purpose ferry with three decks was chosen to carry out the mission.
Africa is the earliest foreign market for many Chinese engineering vehicle manufacturers and also one of the regions importing a large number of engineering vehicles from China.
Many Chinese enterprises have launched infrastructure projects in Africa and have invested in building factories in the region, leading to increasing demands for engineering vehicles.

To facilitate overseas transportation of China-made engineering vehicles, COSCO SHIPPING Group initiated a special express ferry to provide clients with customized logistics service solutions and plans which include loading arrangements, ship type, routes, shipping frequency and high-quality freight transportation.
The service lays a solid foundation for smooth international logistics supply chain in terms of transporting Chinese engineering vehicles.
