The Baishui River Grand Bridge in Southwest China's Yunnan Province, a key section of the Yibin-Zhaotong Highway running between Yunnan and Southwest China's Sichuan Province, was recently completed.

Contracted by China Railway Hi-Tech Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, the 755.8-meter bridge has a main span of 330 meters and is 332.5 meters above the river.

The Yibin-Zhaotong Highway is one of the backbone highways linking Yunnan and Sichuan. Once operational, it is expected to help improve traffic condition in Southwest China, make travel easier between the two regions and promote regional economic and social development.
