Construction of the Zishui Grand Bridge, a key section of the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha railway in Central China's Hunan Province, has been completed, laying a solid foundation for operation of the entire railway.

China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, was responsible for the project.

With a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the 157-kilometer Changde-Yiyang-Changsha railway is a key part of China's "eight verticals and eight horizontals" in the high-speed railway network.
