Tan, who works for Hunan Huanan Opto-Electro-Sci-Tech Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China South Industries Group Co., Ltd., suggested that companies should improve the technical workers' occupational technical grades and add three higher grades to inspire them to work hard and strive for higher career attainment.
He also mentioned that by launching incentive measures for technicians and improving their retirement benefits, more people might be willing to learn related skills and join their ranks.
