Chinese astronauts enter space station

Three Chinese astronauts were sent to the Tianhe core module of the Chinese space station by the Shenzhou XII spacecraft on June 17, 2021. It was the first time Chinese astronauts had entered the country's space station.

CASC has played a key role in design and development of the Shenzhou XII spacecraft and the Tianhe core module of China's space station.

"Fuxi" main control chip

Mass production of "Fuxi", China's first domestically-made main control chip for the power industry, began on Feb 19, 2021. Developed by China Southern Power Grid (CSG), the chip's development and mass production are of great significance for the country's national power energy and information security and autonomy and control of its industrial technology.

Kunlun transport-erection machine

The Kunlun transport-erection machine was put into operation in the erection of girders of the Meizhou Bay bridge of Fuzhou-Xiamen railway in South China's Fujian Province on June 22, 2021.

Developed by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), the machine is capable of transporting a box girder as long as 40 meters and as heavy as 1,000 metric tons. 

It also solves the coordination problems between bridge construction and power supply under special conditions. Its smart settings enable it in various application scenarios.

Its operation was a breakthrough for China's high-speed railway construction technology and equipment.
