China's first 10,000-ton carbon fiber production base
China's first 10,000-ton carbon fiber production base invested and built by China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. was launched in Xining, Qinghai Province, on Sept 8.
With a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($785.5 million), the project realized an annual output of 3,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber through a single line for the first time and independent control of the whole set of high-end technology.
Its operation accelerated upgraded domestic carbon fiber production in China's high-end application market, realized a safe and controllable domestic carbon fiber supply chain and enhanced the country's international competitiveness in the field.
