China's space station
A Long March 5B carrier rocket sent Tianhe, the core module of China's Tiangong space station, into space on April 29, 2021.
Weighing about 22.5 metric tons, the core module was developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
It is the central system of the space station and will receive the cargo and manned spaceships. Its successful launch lifted the curtain on the country's space station construction.
