Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway
The entire line of the Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway opened for traffic on June 30. It is the second 24/7-operating artery linking Xinjiang and other regions after the Lianyungang-Horgos Highway.
The Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway is also the fastest way to transport freight from Horgos Port to Tianjin Port in North China, which is of great significance in promoting the Belt and Road Initiative.
It was constructed by China Communications Construction Company Ltd, CREC and CRCC.
