China National Offshore Oil Corporation's Dapeng liquefied natural gas (LNG) accepting station recently completed China's first night berthing of an LNG vessel.
It confirms that the company has the ability to berth LNG vessels in both day and night and that the berthing rate at the terminal can be expected to improve from 65 percent to between 75 and 80 percent.
