Sinomach Signs Purchase Contracts Valued Nearly $1.9 Billion at 4th CIIE

Updated: November 11, 2021

China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) signed purchase contracts valued at nearly $1.89 billion on Nov 6 at the fourth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

The 11 contracts mainly concerned purchases of advanced equipment, import automobile, service trade, bulk commodities, food and agricultural products.

Sinomach will import high-quality and low-emission diesel engine and electric generators from the Business Unit Power Systems of Rolls-Royce to guarantee more environmentally-protective and greener power in China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry. The two sides also plan to cooperate in natural gas and biomass gas to provide clean energy for green and low-carbon development.

To support relative industrial transformation and upgrading, Sinomach signed contracts with electronic supplier Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to purchase its vortex spinner and automatic winder.

Sinomach also signed an agreement on importing 4,000 metric tons of beef annually from the Minsk government of Belarus and deepened cooperation with British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin.

So far, Sinomach has signed 61 contracts at the CIIE in the past four years with a total contract value of nearly $17 billion.

The company also played a role in attracting exhibitors and investment at this year's expo and has invited 19 exhibitors.

As the largest online-offline equipment import service platform in China, Sinomach's SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd. will continue to invite more overseas high-end equipment manufacturers to attend next year's expo and encourage more cooperation between professional consumers and suppliers.
