Genertec Signs Contracts Valued at Over $1 Billion at 4th CIIE

China General Technology (Group) Holding Co Ltd (Genertec) signed purchase contracts valued at more than $1 billion on Nov 6 at the fourth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

This is the fourth time Genertec has attended the expo. This year's contract value reached a historic high for the company.

The contracts were signed with international enterprises like technology company Philips, copper miner Phelps Dodge Corp., German technology company Siemens and Thailand rubber producer Sri Trang Group. They mainly concerned purchases of medical apparatus and instruments, technical equipment, consumer goods and bulk commodities.

Before the signing ceremony, the Genertec delegation visited the booths of international enterprises like Philips, healthcare technology company Abbott, Siemens and Hitachi ABB Power Grids and exchanged views with the exhibitors.

The company said it is deepening cooperation with international partners in wider fields and strives to contribute to the new development paradigm and construction of an open global economy.
