CNNC to Promote Stable Development of Global Nuclear Power Industry

Updated: November 09, 2021

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) held a signing ceremony on Nov 5 at the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on Nov 5.

It was the first time that the CIIE Central SOE Trade Mission held a centralized signing ceremony at the 4th CIIE.

CNNC's subsidiaries reached agreements with enterprises in Russia, France, the United States and Kazakhstan on technical service nuclear power operation and maintenance and purchase of nuclear fuel components. The contract value was 1.8 times greater than that of last year.

A main force of China's nuclear power development, CNNC has shared nuclear power benefits with its international partners and established long-term and stable economic trade relations with more than 60 countries.

The company intends to contribute to a new development paradigm through international purchases, investment promotion, talent exchanges and opening-up and cooperation at the expo.

CNNC released a plan on import and purchase demand for its overseas projects in the next five years at the first three CIIE events and is making progress in collaborative projects.
