A batch of French apples and apple juice to be exhibited at the upcoming fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) cleared customs in Shanghai on Oct 28.
Transported on a China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. (China Eastern) flight, they are the first fruit products to enter China for the expo.
The exporter is the French National Agricultural Interprofessional Association (INTERFEL).
To ensure the fruit's quality, Eastern Air Logistics Co., Ltd. (EAL) set up a green passage that includes a separate transport environment and cold chain storage to guarantee safe and fresh storage for fruit and other products.
EAL has participated in all CIIE events since it was founded and has helped transport various exhibit materials, including precise instruments.
In addition to the imported fruit, the company was also responsible for the transport of the Mission H24 hydrogen racecar to China for this year's CIIE. By Oct 28, the company had transported 45 sets of exhibits weighing a combined total of more than 29 tons.
