China Southern Power Grid (CSG) has been providing high-quality power service for residents through digital methods.
In response to recent Typhoon Lupit, CSG made accurate positioning and prediction of the risks with the power grid management platform of the asset management system immediately after the typhoon landed in Shantou, South China's Guangdong Province and restored power service in affected areas within 24 hours.
In recent years, the company has been in full swing in construction of the smart grid, improved the intelligentization level of its production, operation and maintenance and promoted management efficiency.
According to the company, nine of its subsidiaries in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Huizhou and Zhaoqing, which are located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, have obtained approval of the international asset management system ISO55000.
The asset size of the company now exceeds 1 trillion yuan ($154.4 billion), and its physical assets accounted for two thirds of its total value.
