The carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) project at Jinjie Power Plant of Guohua Power is now in service in Shaanxi Province after a 168-hour full load trial operation.
With the world's best design capability indices in carbon dioxide capture and storage, it is currently the largest facility of its kind and a demonstration of green coal-fired power plants in China.
It is expected to be promoted in large-scale industrial production and will contribute to environment protection and social development.
Construction of the project was started in November 2019 by China National Chemical Engineering No. 14 Construction Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd.
