Haixun 09, China's largest 10,000-ton patrol vessel equipped with the most advanced equipment recently completed its maiden voyage.

The trial indicated that the vessel has outstanding overall performance and reliable main propelling and power systems. Other systems and equipment also meet specification requirements for practical use.

Designed and built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, the vessel is currently the heaviest public service ship with the most advanced equipment in the world. It is also China's first large smart vessel for public service.

With integrated maritime cruise and rescue functions, the vessel will play a crucial role as a platform for marine law enforcement, emergency coordination command and marine anti-pollution command. It will also strengthen marine traffic management, control and emergency security to guarantee safe and smooth marine transport, as well as safeguard China's marine rights and interests.
