The non-civil aviation engineering work on Lhasa Gonggar International Airport's T3 terminal in Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region passed its inspection on June 30.
The reconstruction and expansion of the airport is a key project of Tibet during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20). After it goes into operation, the airport is expected to handle 9 million visits and 80,000 tons of freight by 2025.
