The Nansha international cruise wharf in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province, has passed its inspection process.
Its operation is expected to help promote Guangzhou to the world and build the city into an international navigation hub.
With a 770-meter shoreline, the wharf project included the dismantling of two small gravity-type berths and the construction of one 100,000-ton and one 225,000-ton berths.
It is designed to handle 750,000 passengers annually and can be used by the largest cruise ships in the world.
Funded and built by China Communications Construction Company Limited, the wharf is a part of the Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port, the biggest cruise home port complex in China.
The home port will evolve into a bridge linking China and the world, and become a landmark of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
