The first "Huadian Ruifeng" 6.2-megawatt master control system was used on a wind generator at the offshore wind project at Haitan Strait in Fuqing, East China's Fujian Province on May 29.
It was the first time a China-developed wind power master control system was applied in an offshore wind generator.
Based on domestically-made CPU and programming software, the application signals that China has mastered key technologies of independent design, simulation testing and engineering application of such systems.
