China's Tianzhou 2 cargo spacecraft and its carrier rocket - a Long March 7 Y3 - were transported to the launch pad on May 16, ready for final preparations before the scheduled launch.
Both the spacecraft and the rocket were developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
