A Glimpse of CNOOC's Ledong 15-1 Gas Field

Updated: May 07, 2021

Located at the northern waters of the South China Sea, the Ledong 15-1 gas field of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) went into operation in September 2010.

More than 6.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas has been produced from the field.

Fewer people are involved in the processing as digital transformation has impacted the field in recent years.
