The Taohu Lake Park in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province, opened to the public on March 22, six months ahead of schedule.
Located in Jiangbei New Area, the park, covering about 407,000 square meters, focuses on improving water quality of the Yangtze River, and is built to ensure water pollution control, water environment recovery and water resource protection.
It is intended to be a site for residents to exercise and relax, and will help protect and improve the local water environment while contributing to local economic development and environmental protection.
China National Chemical Engineering No. 14 Construction Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd (CNCEC), was responsible for the project.
