Construction of the COVID-19 quarantine zone in Shijiazhuang, capital city of North China's Hebei Province, is underway at Guying village, Zhengding county.
The zone, featuring 3,000 quarantine rooms, is designed to cover an area of 500 mu (33.33 hectares). Workers are now cleaning the site and building the foundation, after which the integrated housing will be assembled and placed there.
China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, is responsible for the project.
